Edegem - UZA

A brand-new car park was built at the University Hospital of Antwerp to accommodate an additional 562 cars over three floors.

The car park is surrounded by an open facade made of white expanded metal panels, alternating between horizontal and vertical mounting. The result is a tight checkerboard pattern of open and more closed surfaces, which also reveal the coloured stairwells in the corners of the building.
