Antwerp Blue Gate

Blue Gate Antwerp: an innovative and eco-effective business park close to the river Scheldt. We installed edge trim in coated galvanised steel with wooden finishing slats on the bridge over the green corridor. These serve as architectural cladding and a parapet along the bridge deck and abutments.

The bridge connects the Hobokenese Polder and Nieuw Zuid and was primarily built to avoid impeding wildlife migration in the corridor. The wooden cladding makes the bridge blend seamlessly into the landscape.
