About us
Van Eycken is a family business with generations of experience in steel construction and all associated aspects. We are a Belgian company, born and bred.
We produce, deliver and install a wide range of custom metal structures (railings, stairs, bicycle bridges, large structures), noise barriers and vehicle restraint systems in the Benelux, France and the United Kingdom.
We are mainly active in infrastructure works, where quality and proper agreements are the rule.
History
Metalworking is in our blood; three generations of blacksmiths preceded the company as we know it today.
1971 —
Guy Van Eycken richt het bedrijf Van Eycken op zoals het vandaag is. Leveren en plaatsen van metaalconstructies, met een focus op leuningen en structuren
1988 —
An in-house transport and installation company is established within the Van Eycken Group to eliminate the need for third-party companies to transport and install the structures. This combination guarantees the autonomy of the parent company and virtually eliminates contingencies.
2014 —
Our first CE and BENOR-approved vehicle restraint system passes its crash test. The system has been locally developed and produced. It is followed by a series of high-performance products with various containment levels and load transfers.
2018 —
After a lengthy innovation process, Van Eycken launches its first line of noise barriers. Van Eycken manufactures unique aluminium and transparent noise barriers with high sound absorption levels.
2023 —
The next generation takes the helm: Mathieu Van Eycken, a young and ambitious business leader, is ready to give the family business a new plan and perspective. Mathieu grew up amidst welders and steel fabricators, so his future in the business was really a matter of course.
2024 —
Large investments are made in automation, including a state-of-the-art fibre laser for large tubes and profiles. We expand our services to include laser work and metalworking for third parties.
